In March of 2011 the Town took ownership of Brookhaven Golf Course and approximately 150 acres surrounding it.  The 18 hole championship course was first opened in 1960 by O. B. Beyer Recreation Park Inc., an organization for employees of the International Paper Mill in Corinth.  The Board of Directors donated the course and adjacent landholdings to the Town and the Town has designated the land as a park for Town use.

Described as “not your ordinary walk in the woods”, the Town is focused on preserving the natural integrity of the Park while making it more available to the community.  This Park will offer golf along with a variety of activities such as cross country skiing and snowshoeing, ice skating, hiking and walking trails and a pavilion area.
