The Town of Greenfield Seniors meet at the Community Center on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month at 1:00 PM. The Seniors are “On the Road Again” with a number of Town sponsored bus trips throughout the year. New Members Welcome always welcome. There are topics of interest for all. The Town of Greenfield Meal Site is located at the Community Center, 25 Wilton Road. Call 893-7644 for reservations. Free bus transportation for medical & legal appointments is available. For a reservation please call 884-4100.
The Town of Greenfield sponsors trips for Senior Residents and provides the coaches. When available seating will be offered to members of other Senior Groups (who are not Town residents) & other folks residing outside the Town. Payment should be made a month in advance of the date of the trip unless otherwise stated. If you find you cannot go after signing up please notify the trip coordinator, in case there is a standby list. ALL PAYMENTS SHOULD BE MADE PAYABLE TO GREENFIELD SENIORS.

Wednesday, July 16th - Spirit of Ethan Allen, Burlington Vermont - Depart from the Greenfield Community Center at 8:15 AM arriving in Burlington to Board the Spirit of Ethan Allen III at 11:30 AM. Boat departs the dock for Lunch-on-the-lake cruise at 11:45 AM. The 1 1/2 hour narrated cruise offers time to relax, enjoy the views and buffet designed especially for the "lunch bunch". Wednesday, September 10th - Delaware & Ulster Railroad - Depart from the Greenfield Community Center at 7:00 AM. Arrive at the Delaware and Ulster Railroad at 10:30 AM. Train departs at 11:00 AM. Passengers embarking on the Rip Van Winkle Flyer are transported on a journey back to the sophisticated atmosphere of the early days of railroading. The creme of the fleet at the Delware & Ulster, the Rip Van Winkle Flyer harkens visitors to a period when life's pace was more measured and good conversation was cherished entertainment. Tuesday, December 2nd - Williams Inn, Williamstown MA - Depart from the Greenfield Community Center at 9:15 AM. Arrive at the Williams Inn at Noon and be welcomed by the Beefeater Guards in the lobby area. They will light the traditional Yule Log and anoint it in the old English tradition with goose grease and brandy! Buffet will include mirrors of chilled smoked seafood with whole salmon, cheeses, fruite, plus a salad bar, hot soup, variety of hot items including scrod, veal pork, bee, scallops, vegetables, pasta, potato, fresh carved roast beef or turkey, lamb or ham, fine breads and a whole array of tempting desserts! Lunch is followed by the Miss B. Haven Cabaret Troupe singing and swinging to some of your old favorite holiday tunes plus those of the 30's, 40's and 50's.
