With temperatures finally on the rise and spring in bloom, you may be interested in taking a stroll down a different path. Have you been to Brigham Park recently? It’s just one of the six Greenfield Town Parks and if you haven’t stopped by lately, we urge you to give it a go.

It’s a quaint little park with  several loops for exploring in its 20 acres of pure Greenfield nature. A loop is approximately 3/4 of a mile, so it is good for even the youngest of explorers or the tiniest of paws. 

The wide stone dust paths wind through an incredibly beautiful woods, that occasionally borders the property of some lucky Greenfield residents. Occasionally you’ll find a bench for resting and a small pavilion sits at the entrance if you want to stay for a picnic. If you are looking for a longer hike, it is a perfect trail to repeat.

This spring our friends from the Greenfield Lions Club held a park cleanup day, as they have done for years. We  appreciate their spring cleaning! Thank you to the dozen or so members who helped this year. See the photos from this year’s cleanup below. Over the years, the Lions Club and other organizations have helped add to this park bit by bit with its amenities, with things like benches, the flag pole and a shelter midway.

Many of the pictures below were taken during the cleanup early this spring. Keep in mind, with every week that passes the woods continue to bloom and the trails become even more beautiful and lush. Dogs must be on a leash and please pick up after them.
