Participate in “Two Lights for Tomorrow” to Commemorate Paul Revere’s Famous Ride

Saratoga County 250th American Revolution Commission is inviting all households, business and government office in Saratoga County to join in a unique celebration of American history on April 18.

To commemorate Paul Revere’s famous ride and America’s fight for liberty and independence, residents can stop by TOG Town Hall, 7 Wilton Rd.,  to pick up two Saratoga America’s Turning Point branded luminaries. (While supplies last.)

On April 18, 1775, Paul Revere rode to Lexington, warning of the British approach. Behind him, the Old North Church tower shone, “two if by sea.” He signaled the approach of the British with two lanterns hung in a church steeple.

Residents can pick up a kit or shine any two lights, candles or luminaries in their front windows or porch on the evening of April 18 to participate in the event.
