The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is quasi-judicial five-member citizen board appointed by the Town Board, with five-year staggered terms. One alternate member is also appointed to serve in the event a regular member is unavailable. The Chair and Vice Chair are appointed annually. The ZBA hears and decides all appeals and requests related to zoning and variances, such as:
Meeting dates: the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall
All applications (available at Town Hall) to the ZBA must be submitted through the Zoning, Planning and Building Department for preliminary review. Once an application has been deemed substantially complete, the Applicant will be notified regarding placement on an upcoming ZBA Agenda for application review. Necessary referrals or additional required information may further delay such scheduling. Electronic submissions are not accepted at this time.
