Greenfield participates in this entirely volunteer program designed to enhance public safety. Personalized and confidential information is provided to Fire, Police and EMS through a town-maintained system. This enables Emergency Services to respond appropriately to those residents requiring special needs. During an emergency or disaster, a volunteer would also call you to be sure you and your home are safe. If you are a resident and any of the following apply, you may want to consider registering for the program:

• Without family nearby
• Hearing impaired
• Vision impaired
• Speech impaired or nonverbal
• Physically disabled
• A senior living independently
• In need of special care should a localized evacuation occurs
• Mentally or emotionally disabled.
