Greenfield Food Pantry Needs Your Help

Every Wednesday, our Food Pantry opens its doors at the Community Center (25 Wilton Rd.) from 1:30-3:30 p.m. It is open to all, with no questions asked. Look at the pictures below, our cupboards are looking BARE.

The Greenfield Food Pantry started in the 1980s and would provide food to about 20 residents a month. Today, we often see as many as 120 families! We provide fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, milk and non-perishable goods including laundry and personal products.

WE APPRECIATE YOUR DONATIONS, monetary and food and other products. It is how we purchase food from the Regional Food Bank at low cost. Donations can be left at the table in the Community Center or sent to the Food Pantry c/o Town Hall, P.O. Box 10, Greenfield Center, NY 12833.

WE ALSO APPRECIATE VOLUNTEERS. There is always room to help. We are looking for people to help manage the pantry, staff the pantry and help with fundraising.

To get involved contact Heidi Lampert (the head of operations) at 518-322-6999 or Patty Schwartzbeck at 518-893-7074.
