Brookhaven Park Pavilion Has Some Availability But Middle Grove Park Nearly Full
If you are hoping to hold an event at Greenfield’s Middle Grove Park or Brookhaven Park, please call and get it reserved. Town Clerk Karen Dowen said Middle Grove Park is booked for every weekend of the summer, but some weekdays are still available. Brookhaven Park has a few more weekends and weekdays available. All TOG parks close at sunset.
Brookhaven Park is a beautiful private spot, with a massive 3,300 square foot pavilion, large parking lot and brand new, state-of-the-art playground made from recycled ocean waste. The pavilion is overlooking the acres of woods that are groomed ski trails each winter for skiing. The town has been adding to the stone dust summer walking trail each year at this park. Download the rental form and rules for more info here. Rentals cost $100 for residents, $200 for nonresidents. There is a security deposit and certificate of insurance requirement. Middle Grove Park’s 1,000 square-foot-pavilion is a hot spot for summer events, with its central location, bathrooms, walking trail, playground, as well as tennis and basketball court amenities. Dowen said requests come in starting in February for the popular party spot. The park can be rented for no fee for residents, $50 for nonresidents. There is a security deposit and certificate of insurance requirement.
Brigham Park has a small pavilion that is available first come, first serve. It features picnic tables, a charcoal grill and a 3/4-mile walking trail that meanders through the woods. Note: there are no restrooms at this park.
