We hope you enjoy our May newsletter. We hope to see you soon. If you have any questions about what’s going on at Town Hall, please don’t hesitate to call Town Supervisor Kevin Veitch anytime at 518-893-7432, ext. 308 or email him at kveitch@greenfieldny.org.
Inside you’ll learn about:
- Our first-ever Community Day: a Red, White & Blue BBQ! So many local businesses and community members will be involved. There will be tons of fun for the kids and adults alike such as lawn games, an inflatable obstacle course, live music and a magician. Shop at local vendors, as many of our Farmers Market vendors will be present. Purchase a commemorative “TOG better TOGether t-shirt.” It will be held May 17 at Middle Grove Park from 11-2 p.m. The Greenfield Grange will be holding a food drive and bake sale to benefit the Greenfield Food Pantry, so please plan to bring some items to help. (More info here.)
- Pickleball courts are opening soon at Middle Grove Town Park.
- New procedures, technology and progress at our TOG Building Department.
- Next steps for the new Community Center project. Public comments will be accepted in June! Please note that the Town Board changed this meeting to June 5 at the Community Center at 7 p.m. (The newsletter says it was tentatively scheduled for 6/12.) We want to have room in case many of you are interested in this meeting. We’ll also communicate this on social media.
