Sign up now for our new afternoon craft camps from the Greenfield Rec Department. The programs are being coordinated by BeTa Community Programs, a group that provides opportunities to participate in educational programs and social enrichment via inspiring local instructors.

Classes are M-F from 12:30-3 p.m. at the Community Center. (Some classes may take place either at Town Hall or at the pavilion and Middle Grove Town Park.)

The Art of Disney
Join talented visual artist and illustrator, Kelly Smith and conjure up some magical drawings of some of our favorite Disney characters. This class will introduce students to various approaches to drawing and ways of seeing the world around them while exploring some of their favorite characters. Students will look at the world anew through artists’ eyes and Disney magic.

STEM Sampler 1
Join us for a week of fun STEM activities (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math). In this class, we will capture your child’s imagination and stimulate their creativity with various activities (Legos, arts and crafts, music and more). Also, be ready for a new twist on outdoor games that will challenge your mind and body. Learning is disguised as fun and this is a great way to build confidence and friendships!!

You “ART” What You Eat
Join talented visual artist, Kelly Smith for a week of “still life” and snacks! Is it food? Or is it Art? It’s both! Not only will students learn to draw a still life of food, they will then enjoy snacking on their subject! Students will learn about drawing using shapes, values and composition as well as design in advertising and pop culture.
