Cory Burda joins staff as Code Enforcement Officer
Shelly Emery joins staff as Deputy Town Clerk
Cory Burda joins the Town Hall team as Code Enforcement Officer. We are pleased to welcome Cory to our bustling Building Department team.
Cory joins the Town of Greenfield from Target, where he spent two years as a warehouse worker. Cory has more than ten years of construction experience, having worked as a journeyman, contractor, roofer and more.
Cory is a resident of the Town of Mohawk and spent the majority of his life as a resident of Corinth. He is an avid outdoorsman, who enjoys hunting and fishing.
Shelly Emery has joined our team as Deputy Town Clerk. She will be working with Town Clerk Karen Dowen in the hub of Town Hall helping with resident requests.
Shelly has recently relocated back to her native Town of Greenfield from raising her family in Hopewell Junction in Duchess County, where she worked for four years at Bank of America as relationship manager and business specialist. Prior to that she was a Field Manager for Avon for fifteen years.
Growing up in Greenfield, Shelly’s father was the owner of Fred’s Autobody on Grange Rd. from 1972-2021. Her mother is still a resident today. She has two daughters in college. She will be joining St. Joseph’s Church and the Greenfield Lions Club.
