Our ever-growing Greenfield Seniors group plans monthly meetings, craft meetings, picnics, restaurant dinners/lunches and bus trips. Newly added to that list will be community lunches and dinners at the Community Center. The group has partnered with the Home of the Good Shepherd, located just south of our town border on Route 9N, to offer low-cost meals for people ages 50 and over.

The first lunch will take place Aug. 22, but this pizza lunch is already SOLD OUT.

Sign up for the next, a “Chicken and Biscuit” dinner, by July 25 by calling 518-793-2919. The dinner will be held September 26 at 5:30 p.m. at the Greenfield Community Center, 25 Wilton Rd. The dinner costs $8 per person.

If you have a senior in your life, please let them know about this wonderful organization and encourage them to sign up soon! There will be at least two more meals scheduled this year.
