Greenfield has plenty of fishing spots. Now that the season has begun, check to see that your New York State Fishing License is up-to-date. Visit our Clerk’s office for more information.

We are now participating in the New York DEC’s I Fish NY program, which offers fishing equipment to borrow for the season.  If you’d like to get started, you can borrow spin cast rods, bobbers and hooks from Town Hall. You’ll also receive a guidebook of fresh fishing regulations.

You supply the bait! Stop in to our Recreation Department at Town Hall to participate and pick up your equipment.

Individuals 16 and older must have a valid NYS fishing license. If you are younger than 16, please bring an adult who is licensed with you to register for the program.
